PROJECTS

CHRIST FOR THE
NATIONS MINISTRIES

Christ for the Nations Ministries (CFNM) stands as a dedicated force for positive change in Rwanda, embodying an unwavering commitment to spiritual, social, and holistic transformation. Established as an interdenominational Christian organization, CFNM is registered in Rwanda with a profound mission: "To be Carriers of His Love, Revealers of His Compassion, and Healers to the Nations"

Pastor Norman

Pastor Norman ministers to Pastors and church leaders throughout Rwanda and knows the Christian Pastors, ministers, and lay leaders in Kigali intimately. He does this ministry and relational work through his organization, Christ for the Nations Ministries. CFNM brings government approved Christian education opportunities to many pastors and ministers throughout the country who otherwise would not have access to the restorative and biblical justice trainings he provides.

It is through Pastor Norman that I met the leaders of Prison Fellowship Rwanda, Dr. Charles Murigande and Bishop John Rucyahana. Each has been a force in the remaking and recovery of the Rwandan government, law, and social fabric following the genocide against the Tutsi. They have accomplished these great strides exclusively through Christian Biblical Justice principles.

Pastor Norman has 2 projects that The Justice Project is interested in:

- The first is a leadership center where pastors and ministers can come for government approved Christian higher education certifications.

- The second is an office for ministry operational purposes.  Since beginning biblical justice and restorative ministry work following the genocide, office space has been a challenge. Pastor Norman is now at the point of needing a permanent office space.

THE GREAT 16

Pastor Simon, who leads a vibrant and growing church in the hills of Kigali, introduced me to a group of 15 church and ministry leaders.  This group is made of genocide victims and perpetrators, each having done the hard work of confession, forgiveness and reconciliation resulting in a cohesive Christian leadership consortium.  Each member is ministering to survivors, victims, and the new generations being born.

Pastor Simon Gaterega

Pastor Simon's ministry is launching a new church and new projects aimed at addressing the key needs within the Great 16 community of ministers.

- This initiative aligns with the broader goals of supporting Christian hope and healing in the rural areas outside of Kigali by planting a new church.

LAWYERS OF HOPE

Their mission is to defend the cause of the poor and needy (Proverb 31:9) by being a hub that enables Christian lawyers and stakeholders to contribute to access to justice and improve the well being of vulnerable members of their communities.

Lawyers of Hope
Legal Aid Ministry

Lawyers of Hope (LOH) is pioneering significant efforts through two primary projects aimed at serving local communities and prisons. Their initiatives serve as a profound inspiration for our legal aid ministry, The Hope Justice Center, based in Houston. They are seeking assistance with the following:

- Their expansive paralegal program, which operates both in community settings and within the prison system, is in urgent need of Bibles translated into the local language to support its mission.

- The Justice Project expresses a keen interest in supporting LOH endeavors to expand the paralegal program into rural areas and further into the prison system, highlighting a shared commitment to enhancing legal aid and access to justice.

Divine Living Gospel Church

Pastor Emmanuel Ssenyunva and his wife, Esther, lead the Divine Living Gospel Church in Uganda. Together, they provide education to approximately 250 children and orphans annually through an on-site school. With sufficient land for a small farm, they are able to extend their efforts beyond spiritual guidance to practical support for the community.

Pastor Emmanuel Ssenyunva

Pastor Emmanuel and his wife, Esther, are engaged in supporting the educational and health needs of the children attending their primary school, and in their own education through Teleo University, a government-authorized institution in the Anglican faith.

To support the continued growth and effectiveness of these ministries, they are seeking assistance with two key projects:

- Funding to purchase milk-producing animals, which will help sustain the school and support the local community.

- Funding for advanced education courses at Teleo University, enabling them to gain further qualifications and improve their service to the church and community.
